The Mysore Association, Matunga. Established in 1923. Organising the Annual Ganesh festival and Gamesh Visarjan  functions have been  the regular features of the this Institution. Besides, This Kannada sangha has been propagating and preserving the  Indian cultural Traditions in a systematic way over the years. The activities can be broadly referred as follows : 1. Classical  music programs, 2. Classical dance programs,  3. Dramas,   3. Lectures,  4 organising some of the festivals from Hindu calendar,  Viz : 1. Mahashivrathri, Ramanavami, Akshay trutiya, 2. National festivals : Independence day, 2. Republic day celebrations, 5. Annual Golden jubilee lecture series jointly with The University of Mumbai, Kannada division, and M.A, Mumbai. 6.
